Looking for things to do in Bristol at Halloween and October Half Term? As ever, we’ve got you covered at Bristol Aquarium, with two spooktacular, fun-packed events for all the family – as well as our usual selection of amazing displays and daily talks – taking place over the school holidays.
As part of our A’scare’ium event this October half term at Bristol (running from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November), you’ll get the chance to encounter some of the scariest, creepiest creatures around, including spider crabs, piranhas and eels. Bristol’s bloodthirsty history of piracy… Bristol and the South West was home to some of the most famous and ruthless pirates in the world. They terrorised our busy ports, ruled the high seas, and struck fear into the hearts of sailors and battle-hardened Royal Navy captain alike.
Our annual stock-take is taking place this weekend (Saturday January 19 to Sunday January 20 2019) with our own version of a ‘fishy census!’ Throughout the weekend, we’re inviting visitors to help spot and record the number of certain species including sharks, rays and seahorses.
It’s not just Halloween taking over this month as SCARY CLAWS and SPOOKY TOURS comes to Bristol Aquarium this half term. Forget about the pumpkin carving because there’s so much more fun to be had.
