Atlantic Wreckfish (Polyprion americanus), also known as Stone Bass, are so named as they are often found hunting and prowling around wrecked ships in the ocean. These environments are rich in wildlife and biodiversity. They can often be found schooling beneath floating objects in larger numbers for protection.
They lay eggs in the Summer however neither males or females guard the eggs or young.
